FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are key workers qualified to deliver therapy if they are not an occupational therapist, speech pathologist or physiotherapist?

Certain areas require assessment and advice exclusively from a speech pathologist, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist.

The key worker will engage these team members as necessary. As a degree-qualified teacher, our key worker uses her training in child development and learning to design and implement strategies across developmental areas which include social, emotional, physical, cognitive and language.

She will engage your family and other important people in your child’s life such as their teacher, speech pathologist, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist.

If your child is already NDIS approved and you are either self-managed or plan-managed, we can use this to pay for your sessions. We will send an invoice to either the parent/caregiver of plan manager after each session.
